Summary
The banks' private lending continues to rise. Since FI's last report on the effects of the government stability measures, the difference between the banks' lending rates and the interbank rate have remained at the same level. The banks' cost for liquidity has continued to fall. All in all, the bank's margins on private lending are increasing.
 
Both the banks and firms now have good prospects to borrow on the market. The banks have been able to extend the maturities for their borrowing.
 
In August, the annual growth rate for corporate lending was 2.9 per cent and 8.0 per cent for private lending.
