Good insight into the financial market ensures that it functions efficiently. Good transparency creates a sound market that is characterised by correct pricing of financial instruments. That is why regulations exist for how market information shall be disseminated. The regulations are for, among others, companies that will be listed on the Stock Exchange, that are listed and persons who have control or insight into listed companies.
Information that is regulated applies, among other things, to prospectuses, when larger owners and persons with insight into the companies change their shareholdings, the companies' financial reports and other price-sensitive information.
Listed companies: a company which is listed on a regulated market, an exchange.
