Regulations governing information to life policyholders

Summary
These regulations regulate how insurance companies shall submit information regarding life insurance to policyholders and what that information shall include.
 
FI requires the companies to provide both pre-purchase information and information during the term of the contract. The companies shall also provide information when the insurance capital is transferred from one insurance company to another.

 
Amendments
The regulations have been expanded to apply for occupational pension funds and in some respects for larger pension funds as well. FI supplements the regulations as well with disclosure regulations for occupational pensions in accordance with the EU Directive.
