Insurance broker Nordisk Kapitalförvaltning AB has had several material deficiencies in its business operations. Finansinspektionen has therefore decided to revoke the company’s authorisation.

Folksam LO Fond receives a remark and an administrative fine

Investment management company Folksam LO Fond AB has not dealt with the conflicts of interests in its business operations and has had inadequate internal governance and control. The company is therefore being issued a remark and must pay an administrative fine of SEK 6 million.

FI implements changes

Finansinspektionen is growing and recently restructured its organisation to be able to better meet future supervisory and regulatory needs. FI is now implementing additional changes and eliminating the position of Chief Economist. Most of the tasks previously carried out by the Chief Economist will now be divided between Aino Bunge and Uldis Cerps.

Norwegian Acta company loses its authorisation

As of 13 April, the Norwegian supervisory authority, Finanstilsynet, has withdrawn Acta Asset Management AS’s authorisation to conduct securities business. Acta Asset Management AS must have wound down its customer relationships and securities accounts no later than 31 August 2012.
