When a firm that is a deposit company or a financial institution receives knowledge of managerial changes, FI should be immediately informed. The firm shall also register those changes with the Swedish Companies Registration Office.
 

Management refers to:

• a board member
• an alternate board member
• a managing director or person serving in the managing director’s stead, i.e. a deputy managing director 

 

The notification shall contain:

• the name of the firm
• information on how the senior management’s structure has changed (new, resignations, changes)
• Name, civic registration number and position/commission of those the management assessment relates to

 
FI conducts a suitability assessment of the persons based, among other things, on information obtained from Rikspolisstyrelsen (the Swedish National Police Board), Upplysningscentralen UC AB (UC AB) and Skatteverket (the Swedish National Tax Board). For the assessment of foreign citizens, FI contacts the foreign supervisory authority in the home country. 
 

Fee

A fee of SEK 5,000 shall be paid to FI in conjunction with the submitted application to PlusGiro account: 95 40 17-0 or Bankgiro account: 5050-6922. Please indicate on the payment advice what the payment is for.
 

Processing time

FI will send you a reply within 45 days provided that the application is complete and the fee is paid.
