Reorganisation to create more transparent FI

Finansinspektionen's organisation will be changed this autumn as a part of efforts to strengthen analysis and expanded dialogue with companies. The changes aim to create an organisation with clearer areas of responsibility and a focus on institutions.

The supervisory work will be organised in three new departments:

The Department of Markets, will include responsibility for market supervision, of which Linda Hedvall will be the Director.
The Department of Banking and Securities will be headed by Uldis Cerps, the current Director of Prudential Supervision.
The Department of Insurance and Investment Funds will be led by Tomas Flodén who is currently Chief of Staff.

Finansinspektionen's new organisation will go into effect on 17 August.
