FIDAC (Finansinspektionen Data Collection) is Finansinspektionens new reporting system. Fidac will replace several of the existing reporting systems for both periodic and event-driven reporting.
There are two different systems for periodic reporting: an online system and a system that is locally installed on your computer.
Users can log in to the online system for periodic reporting via the Reporting Portal. Reporting authorisation for periodic reporting (or, where relevant, periodic fund reporting) is delegated by an authorised signatory for the company. Once users have been delegated authorisation, they can then click on the link in the Reporting Portal to access the system.
Users with the application locally installed log in to the system through the application itself. Reporting authorisation for periodic reporting (or, where relevant, periodic fund reporting) is delegated in the Reporting Portal by an authorised signatory for the company. Users with a locally installed application must have an account in the Reporting Portal to be able to be delegated authorisation, but after the authorisation has been delegated they do not need to be logged in to the Reporting Portal since the reports are submitted via the locally installed application.
