Universal Credit Union of Sweden Economic association has no licence from Finansinspektionen to conduct banking- or financing business. The company is not registered to conduct any other financial business, and is therefore not under the supervision of Finansinspektionen.

Several foreign banks and companies have contacted Finansinspektionen to find out if Universal Credit Union of Sweden Economic association is a bank under the supervision of Finansinspektionen.

Finansinspektionen has therefore ordered the company to submit information regarding the business in order to determine whether the company should have a licence to operate banking- or financing business, or other financial business. The company has not answered. The only Swedish director within the company does not know what kind of business that the company operates and he does not know who the other board members are.
