Investor alert: Glacier Bay Capital LLC

Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) has today published this statement in order to warn investors against dealing with unauthorised firms.

Glacier Bay Capital LLC has not received authorisation from Finansinspektionen and therefore is not entitled to provide financial services in Sweden. Finansinspektionen has not received any notification of cross-border activities from other EEA countries.

Reportedly, representatives from Glacier Bay Capital LLC contact Swedish investors and offer them compensation for investments in shares. Investors are asked to pay a fee in advance to receive the compensation. This appears to be an advance fee fraud scheme.
