Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) has today published this statement in order to warn investors against dealing with unauthorised firms.
United Tax Strategies has not received authorisation from Finansinspektionen and therefore is not entitled to provide financial services in Sweden. Finansinspektionen has not received any notification of cross-border activities from other EEA countries.
Reportedly, representatives from United Tax Strategies have contacted Swedish investors and offer to buy their holdings in unlisted American shares. Investors are asked to pay a fee in advance to secure the deal. This appears to be an advance fee fraud scheme.
