Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) has today published this statement in order to warn investors against dealing with unauthorised firms.
Universal Finance Bank has not received authorisation from Finansinspektionen and therefore is not entitled to provide financial services in Sweden. Finansinspektionen has not received any notification of cross-border activities from other EEA countries.
Reportedly, representatives from Universal Finance Bank have contacted Swedish investors through email and through social media to offer loans at a low interest rate. This appears to be an advance fee fraud scheme.
