Finansinspektionen (FI) can conclude that, on the whole, the annual reports reviewed comply with the regulatory requirements – but that improvements can be made in terms of some of the contents. The information in the annual reports shall enable mutual fund investors to assess the fund’s performance as well as provide a basis for fund comparisons.
FI will take the following measures
FI has communicated its observations to the fund management companies included in the investigation and expects that the information will be improved where required. Furthermore, FI will clarify its written guidance for investment funds and follow up the fund management companies' measures in the ongoing supervision.
